BLOOMSBURG-- The Bloomsburg University baseball team dropped a pair of games to Shippensburg University on Monday by scores of 5-0 and 12-5.

In game one, the Huskies best chance to score came in the bottom of the sixth when they loaded the bases, but a double play ended the threat.

In game two, Kevin Ward (Upper Darby/Monsignor Bonner) had two hits and drove in two runs, but the Red Raiders scored at least once in six of the seven innings for the victory. Chris Tressler (Lewistown/Lewistown) and Anthony Forman (Richboro/Council Rock South) added two hits each for Bloomsburg.

Bloomsburg, now 5-17, will host Kutztown on Friday at 1 p.m.
